New Toll Free Numbers for Reporting Insurance Claims

Claims that are reported on a timely basis have been proven to save costs and promote efficient file handling since the information reported early on in the claims process is the most accurate. Proactive reporting produces the best possible outcome. To encourage the proactive reporting of claims, the campus has implemented a telephonic incident reporting tool. This new tool will greatly expand the ease and timeliness of reporting injuries, accidents, property damage claims and incidents to our third-party claim administrator (TPA), Sedgwick CMS.

Effective immediately, callers from UCLA can utilize Sedgwick’s convenient telephonic claims center. Customer Service representatives are available to take your call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The office of Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) will receive electronic notification of claims that are called in within 24 hours and where appropriate, contact the department representatives.

 
For Auto, Property & General Liability (injuries or property damage to 3rd parties) claims: To report an incident dial (800) 416-4029 
 
For Workers' Compensation incidents (employee injuries): To report an incident dial 877-6UC-RPRT [(877) 682-7778)]
