UCLA Parking
Parking Assistants serve as UCLA ambassadors by providing valuable information about the campus, assisting guests, staff, faculty and students and selling parking to campus visitors. Student Parking Assistant positions are part-time; typical schedules are 15-19 hours a week. The ability to work mornings and nights, weekends, holidays and special events is preferred. The salary is $9.19 per hour to start with promotional opportunities up to $10.76 per hour. Candidates must be currently registered UCLA students.
Student Employees of Parking Services are eligible to purchase a campus parking permit.

UCLA Transit
Student Bus Drivers help provide transportation services to fellow students, faculty and staff alike and are an integral part of daily UCLA Transit Operations. Student schedules are typically 10-20 hours per week and are flexible, based on a combination of your schedule and the operational needs of UCLA Transit. The starting salary is $9.19 per hour to start and $10.28 per hour after training and successfully obtaining your DMV Class B license.
Employment is subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening per DOT regulations. Student Bus Drivers must:
- Have a clean driving record (no citations, accidents, suspensions or other adverse actions)
- Have at least 2 years driving experience and a valid California Driver's License
- Be available to attend 7 full days of paid training course (can be done during school breaks)
- Be available to work for at least 12 months following training
- Pass CDL test for continued employment beyond training
- Bring H-6 driving record to the interview from the DMV
