Gaming Consoles, TiVos and other network aware devices do not need to be registered on the Residential Network. They should connect immediately, once you plug them in.
VoIP phones may require authorized bypass to work on the network. If you are using a VoIP phone and it will not work, please connect it to the network; when you locate the IP address, call the Student Technology Center to have the device allowed through the network.
