Access Control Monitor

Students monitor evening access into residence halls. Check resident IDs, register guests, monitor lobby traffic and enforce On-Campus Housing regulations.

Catering Attendant

Students help with catered events on campus. Involves gathering items, setting up and cleaning up for each event. Schedules are made around the student's academic needs.

Dining Services Worker
Starts at $9.65/hour + $0.62 shift differential, if eligible.
Students serve customers, help the cooks with simple food preparation, and do light cleaning in the residential restaurants. Schedules are made around the student's academic needs.

Front Desk Attendant
Starts at $8.76/hour + $0.62 shift differential, if eligible.
Students staff a 24-hour service desk. Provide information, issue keys, sort mail and handle light cash transactions. Schedules are made around the student's academic needs.

Housing Tour Guide
Starts at $9.00/hour
Students conduct housing tours for prospective students. Tours are usually conducted mid-day during the week and on some weekends. Walking is required and students will be asked to learn housing options and policies.

Information Technology (IT) Assistant
Students assist IT with simple administrative and technical tasks. They answer phones; dispatch Help Desk requests; replace toner; replace, program and troubleshoot Nextels; assist with maintenance; and monitor inventory. Other duties assigned as needed.  Schedules are made around student academic needs.

Meeting Rooms Worker
Starts at $9.65/hour + $0.62 shift differential, if eligible.
Students will assist with meeting room sets. This job will include moving tables and chairs, as well as setting up audio/visual equipment, such as TVs, VCR, DVD players, projectors and laptops. Schedules are made around the student's academic needs.

Student Technology Center (STC) Assistant
Students take care of basic networking and computer troubleshooting over the phone and in person. They answer phone calls, troubleshoot all kinds of computer related issues, repair computer hardware and fix software problems, enter trouble tickets into our Help Desk system, and assist customers with copying, printing and use of the lab computers. Students also take shifts at the front desk assisting customers and recording sales.
