UC policy allows for the presentation of a non-cash award to an employee for recognition, length of service or retirement purpose. In addition, gifts as an expression of sympathy may be presented to employees in certain circumstances. Please be sure to indicate the specific purpose of the expenditure (details of recipient, recognition, etc.) when submitting the order or claim for reimbursement.
