1 Microsoft has listed certain requirements for what they call a Vista Premium Ready PC. A PC that meets or exceeds these requirements will be able to use the new Aero technologies. Video card specifications are:
- A DirectX 9 compatible graphics processor
- Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) driver
- A minimum of 64 MB of Video RAM. (For the best possible experience with Vista and Aero technologies, we recommend at least 128MB of Video RAM, however, you should check with the video card manufacturer for Vista specific information.)
