Through Bruin OnLine, Information Technology Services (IT Services) offers a full-featured mailing list service that can be used to administer e-newsletters or facilitate electronic mail discussion. Lists are available to UCLA students, staff and faculty for any academic or university business purpose. The mailing list service handles subscription requests for a mailing list and distributes new messages, or other postings from the list's members to the entire list of subscribers. The software that is handling our mailing lists is called Mailman, which provides an easier to use, intuitive web-based interface for administrative tasks.

Basic List Facts

• Lists may only be requested by current UCLA students, staff, or faculty. 
• BOL mailing lists take the form of LISTNAME@lists.ucla.edu.
• The main information page about a specific list can be found at the following web address: http://lists.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/LISTNAME
• The web address for the administrative interface of a specific list can be found at: http://lists.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/admin/LISTNAME
