Parking Enforcement Officers protect more than 23,000 parking spaces for legitimate permit holders and daily parkers. In addition, officers provide traffic direction for campus events and constructions projects. All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid permit.
The top three reasons people receive parking tickets on campus are:
- Failing to display a valid permit
- Parking in the wrong space
- Parking at an expired parking meter or pay station.
All net revenues from parking tickets support UCLA's sustainable transportation programs, such as UCLA Vanpools, BruinGo! and Go Metro transit programs.
