Wellness is a way of living—eating a healthful diet, being physically active and managing your well-being every day. And while it may take some effort at first to make wellness a priority in your life, the rewards are worth it. The University of California thinks so and that's why it developed the program "UC Living Well...Making Wellness a Priority."
"UC Living Well" supports employee wellness efforts by making it easier for faculty and staff to learn about and use the many resources available to them by putting it all in one place—right here in fact! Take a look at Related Information and you'll get an idea of the variety of wellness resources, tools and services this campus offers and how you can take advantage of these benefits.
Get started on a healthier you by taking a Health Risk Assessment.
What’s the best way to get started on a healthier you? Complete a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) offered by your medical plan. The HRA is a short online questionnaire that will provide you with a personalized profile of your health status that you can share with your doctor. UC will not have access to the results of your HRA.
Accessed through your medical plan’s website, the HRA questionnaire is fast, free and confidential. Some medical plans offer incentives for completing one. Most importantly, you can use your personalized HRA report to help determine the next wellness steps you can take.
