UCLA EMS only bills those patients who are transported to an emergency department by ambulance. Fees are set according to the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services ambulance billing fee schedule. We contract with an outside billing agency, Wittman Enterprises, which handles the billing of all our ambulance transports.
