Getting Started

New On Demand Plus accounts can be requested by calling UCLA Information Center at X53333 or emailing mmconf@cts.ucla.edu. Departments can have multiple On Demand accounts with an individual billing number. Your request is automatically forwarded to The Conference Depot who will establish your new account which will include a Conference ID Number, PIN number (password) and dial-in access numbers. They will send an email confirming that your account has been established. Account will be established within one business day.


Using Conference Services

How do I begin on a Demand Plus conference call?
After your account is set up you simply dial the toll free number provided on your conferencing card and enter Conference Depot conference ID and PIN when prompted.

Do I need a reservation to begin a conference call?
No. Your Conference Depot moderator account is available to you any time without advanced notice or scheduling.

Do I need a new conference ID and PIN every time I start a new conference?
No. Once you have signed up and received your conference ID and PIN, they remain the same every time you start a conference call.

I did not receive and/or lost my moderator card. How can I get a replacement?
Speak to any of The Conference Depot account managers at (888) 273-1331 or email ucla@theconferencedepot.com.

How many people can participate in an On Demand Plus conference?
125 people can participate on the phone and thousands can listen over the web using our web casting feature.

How do participants join my teleconferencing session?
Distribute the same toll-free number and conference ID to your meeting participants. If you have not yet entered your PIN, participants will be placed on hold until you arrive.

What if my conference call has more than 125 participants on the phone?
The Conference Depot offers operator assisted conferencing services to simplify and streamline your conference calls that need special attention or additional capacity. To find out more information on setting up an operator-assisted conference call, contact The Conference Depot representative at (888) 273-1331.

Can I control the conference using commands on my telephone keypad?
Yes, these commands are listed on the back of your Conference Depot moderator card. See the quick reference guide for a listing of the commands, when and how to use them.


Billing & Usages Charges

Are there any teleconferencing setup charges?
Since no reservations are required for On Demand Plus, there are no setup charges or cancellation fees. You pay only for call usage. Who do I contact for billing questions? Contact CTS Billing Department at X58905 or email ctsbilling@cts.ucla.edu.


Training Support

How do I receive On Demand Plus training?
When your account is set up, a Conference Depot representative will contact you and provide training on all of the features for the service, user guides and training documentation.
