Students living off campus, who are currently enrolled for the quarter, may select from four different meal plans. Dining Services offers the Non-Resident 14, the Non-Resident Cub 11, Non-Resident 5, and the Non-Resident 3. These non-resident meal plans do not allow for multiple 'swipes' in a meal period and unused meals do not carry forward each week. Students may eat in any of the Residential Restaurants and Quick-service Restaurants: Covel Commons, De Neve, Bruin Café, Café 1919, and Rendezvous. These meal plans are not valid in ASUCLA facilities. Meal plans are purchased for an entire quarter, are non-transferable. Non-resident meal plans may be canceled with a $25 processing fee and the prorated balance will be refunded. Non-resident meal plans may be upgraded or downgraded with a $25 processing fee. Students purchasing a non-resident meal plan after the start of the quarter will pay a prorated amount based on the remaining days left in the quarter.
To purchase a non-resident meal plan use the link below to select the desired meal plan and sign the contract on line. Housing will process the request and then the charge for the non-resident meal plan will be posted on the student’s BruinBill account. The student will have 2 business days to make the payment on BruinBill or the meal plan will not be activated on the student’s BruinCard.
