Commuter Express buses generally operate Monday thru Friday and make limited stops for faster travel times.

UCLA Students and employees who ride L.A. Department of Transit (LADOT) Commuter Express buses can purchase (3) monthly subsidized passes per quarter (one for each month), good for travel on any LADOT bus throughout the academic quarter. These passes are not accepted on Metro Buses or Metro Rail. However, LADOT riders can request a transfer coupon from LADOT bus drivers for only $0.25 to complete their trip on another bus or Metro Rail line.
Please purchase the LADOT pass in person at the Central Ticket Office, open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bring your UCLA ID card along with you, as well as cash only. At this time, LADOT does not offer a separate discount student pass rate.
