Commuter Express buses generally operate Monday thru Friday and make limited stops for faster travel times.

UCLA students and employees can purchase monthly passes for City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) Commuter Express buses for 50% of the regular price. Passes are normally sold in three-month packets (roughly corresponding to each academic quarter).
If you are a member of a UCLA Carpool Permit or a UCLA Vanpool, you are not eligible to receive a subsidized LADOT transit pass.
In order to purchase an LADOT pass, visit the Central Ticket Office, open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bring your BruinCard along with you. You can pay by cash, credit/debit or payroll deduction.

Rider Notes:
- Keep your monthly passes safe. There are NO replacements for lost, stolen or missing cards.
- If you begin riding LADOT in the middle of a quarter, you can also purchase subsidized packets of only the passes that you need for the rest of that quarter (for example, if you begin riding in November, you can purchase a two-month packet containing the November and December passes).
If you only ride LADOT occasionally and do not need a monthly pass, you can purchase a 20-trip booklet at the Central Ticket Office. These purchases, however, do not qualify for the 50% subsidy. |
