BruinTech Seminar Series: Better Home Computing
Summary: How to put the pieces together for better, safer computing from home.

Is your Mac or PC connected safely? Are pop-ups driving you crazy? Is it possible someone is spying on you? Do you still have virus trouble? Do you know which virus and spy protection products are recommended by UCLA experts? Do you know how to set them up to maximize effectiveness? And what about wireless? Do you understand the ins and outs of your wireless connection?

And now that the UCLA Minimum Network Connectivity Standards are officially in effect, do you meet those standards? If not, you may get disconnected when you least can afford it. We’ll help make sure you know what it takes to keep your connectivity to UCLA.
