UCLA Transportation offers a Paperless Pre-Tax Payroll Deduction payment option for UCLA staff and faculty Metro Bus and Metro Rail riders who purchase the quarterly Go Metro pass. The quarterly fee for the Go Metro pass can now be deducted from employee paychecks in a single, one-time quarterly payment. This deduction is also "pre-tax", which means that an individual’s federal and state taxes will be reduced, partially offsetting the Go Metro program fee. Because enrollment in this payment option is paperless, it requires an “electronic signature” and is only available when you enroll online via the "Go Metro TAP Pass" application from the "My Transportation" link on our Web site. This option is not available at the Central Ticket Office.
Note: This is a one-time deduction each quarter. Staff and Faculty need to go online each quarter to purchase a new Go Metro pass and select this payment type each time.
