Please note that the BruinBuy system will be unavailable from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7 through Sunday, December 10 to allow for the transition.

The new release includes all of the latest enhancements that have been developed since the original implementation of BruinBuy in 2001.  Campus customers will still be able to enter purchase requisitions and low value orders (LVOs) directly into BruinBuy or the Purchasing Accounts Payable (PAC) system; however, Web-PAC will no longer be available.

The new system provides the following features:

• More user-friendly displays and navigation
  (the globes are no longer used)
• Improved search engine
• Ability to navigate to selected vendors' websites and pull shopping carts back into BruinBuy to post a purchase order (the first implementation of this feature will be Dell via KST Data)
• Enhanced system performance

Training Sessions
The new system will have a different look but will not require retraining for current users.  However, training sessions will be available on and off-campus as indicated below. 

Use the BruinBuy Training Enrollment link to register for these classes.  After the rollout, you can still receive training on the new system through the regular BruinBuy classes taught by Campus Human Resources (CHR).  See the BruinBuy Training link (through the BruinBuy system description article) for more information on these classes and other available training resources.
