Sophos Anti-Virus Configuration - Mac OS X (10.2+)

We recommend that users configure their settings to automatically delete all infected files to ensure maximum protection.

Disinfection

  1. Click on the Sophos icon on your task bar, and select Open Preferences...

  2. Click on the Scanning button. Next to Show:, click on Disinfection on the pull down menu.

  3. If you see a blue lock icon on the bottom left hand corner of the dialog box, click on it and authenticate with your Mac system username and password to allow any further changes in the configurations.

  4. Click on the Delete radio button.

If you have any problems with Sophos installation, configuration, or updating, please contact the BOL Help Desk.
