Eligibility UCLA Early Care and Education supports the recruitment and retention of UCLA faculty, staff, and students by providing families with center-based care and by providing child development information and child care resources. Faculty and staff applicants must be employed by UCLA. Faculty and staff applicants employed less than 50% time will remain on the waiting list until those appointed 100% time have been served. Student applicants must be enrolled fulltime in undergraduate or graduate programs. UCLA alumni, volunteers and UCLA Extension students are not eligible for our services. How to Apply
To join our waiting list, please print out either the General (infant/toddler/preschool) Waiting List Application (PDF) or the Kindergarten Waiting List Application (PDF) under Related Information to the right. Please fill out this application completely and mail it to the Box in the upper right hand corner of the application along with a $50 non-refundable processing fee (check made payable to "UC Regents"). Note: The $50 processing fee is waived for student families. An email confirmation will be sent to your email address after we receive your application. New employees must send a copy of their offer letter from UCLA as proof of affiliation. UCLA Student Families

Termination of Enrollment Forty-five (45) days' notice in writing must be given when a child is leaving the program. Parents are responsible for all tuition due through the end of this 45-day period. Termination notices are available at each of the centers. If, in the opinion of the director, the program is unable to meet the needs of your family, we reserve the right to give 30 days' notice of termination of services.
