Mozilla Installation - Mac OS X

We encourage users to regularly use an email client such as Mozilla Mail, Eudora, Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger to download their email to a local machine rather than only leaving the messages on the email server. This ensures that you have a backup copy on your machine.

Installing Mozilla 1.7.x

  1. After you have downloaded the installation file, please click on the icon named mozilla-mac1.7.13.dmg. It will extract the application file into a disk image, which will appear in the same folder that the dmg file is in.
  2. Click on the disk image named Mozilla. A window will pop up with the Mozilla icon.
  3. Please drag the Mozilla icon to your Applications folder in your hard drive.
